One thing that has significantly improved since I moved to Bangkok last year is the quality of my skin. Some people might say it wasn’t that bad before, but I struggled with occasional acne, eczema, redness, uneven tone, and random breakouts. Some branches are better stocked than others, but it’s always a reliable place to buy affordable skincare, basic Korean and Japanese products, and travel-sized beauty items. I usually pop in to stock up on coconut oil and face masks. If you’re looking for easy, budget-friendly skincare in Bangkok, Watsons is a great option.

3. Boots Thailand – Drugstore & International Mix

Boots is a British-founded drugstore chain that’s spread all over Thailand. In Bangkok, you’ll find a mix of Western and Asian brands. They carry their own Boots beauty range, as well as international brands like Garnier, L’Oréal, and No7.

One interesting thing I didn’t know at first is that many Western brands sold in Asia adjust their formulas for the humid climate. Products often emphasize UV protection, lightweight hydration, and ingredients commonly used in Korean skincare. That’s because consumer demand in Thailand is heavily influenced by Korean and Japanese beauty trends.

I personally love the Hada Labo face wash, and I recently picked up some haircare samples that I’m excited to try.

Besides skincare and beauty products, Tsuruha also sells Japanese snacks, pharmacy items, household products, and eye drops.

7. 7-Eleven – The Beloved Convenience Store

7-Eleven is Thailand’s most popular convenience store and yes, it sells skincare too. You’ll find face creams, sunscreen, and makeup in small pouches with proper lids, which makes them perfect for travel. I even bought a mini version of Srichand face powder there.

One thing you absolutely have to try? The small pouches of hair masks. The keratin version works incredibly well for hair affected by Thailand’s humidity. It’s affordable, practical, and surprisingly effective.

8. Department Store Beauty Halls

If you visit the main malls along the BTS Skytrain line, you’ll notice that many have open-plan beauty halls.For example, CentralWorld has one right at the entrance on the BTS level, opposite the large Apple Store. It’s called KIS and has a great selection of K-beauty products as well as perfumes.
